June 3, 2010: The difficulties encountered in attempts
to connect to the system Xunaan Ha make us give up at the moment, also
forcing a restriction leads us to discover another cenote connected with
cenote Renzo, which makes it a system in effect.
July 24, 2010: The goal is to continue north and look for another possible flow from the west, where Hol Kin section exist, but all the passageways toward the northwest end in unstable bedding plane. 584 feet are added.
July 25, 2010: continues the resurvey of an
existing line (338 feet) and are explored other 1129 feet to the north.
The last line is dedicated to Wes Skiles, who died recently during a dive.
July 28, 2010: Are collected
the datas of
the last existing line (151 feet); can not understand why they
don't have continued the exploration, as there is an obvious continuation
of the cave at the end of the line.
July 30, 2010: Are explored a couple of
shortcuts to restrictions, and we continue north to arrive in a room of
about twenty meters wide.
Unfortunately, this also ends in a bedding plane without flow.
August 15, 2010: Unfortunately, a duit that seemed very
promising joins again with the area of the northern beedding plane.
September 8, 2010: The cave really wants to go north.
Are added 2019 feet of
new explored passages, but at the extreme north seems
to have no other options to continue.
October 14, 2010: In a further
attempt to connect to the system Xunaan Ha are reviewed every line in the
south end of the system and from one of those the exploration is extended
for more 178 feet.
The difficulty in progressing is due to the reduced size of the
passageways and the visibility drops to zero within seconds.
