Introductory Cave Diver |
IANTD Introductory Cave Diver Course Cavern diving is by definition the “going beyond” the area of natural light, or diving beyond 60 meters of “open water.”
This subsequent step, is
necessary for those having the objective of obtaining the Full Cave Diver
certification
and it already offers the opportunity of, albeit limited cave penetration.
This introduction to Cavern Diving can be obviously combined with the
Cavern Diver Course. The basic of this Introduction revolve around incidents analysis, cave conservation, dive planning, procedures and problem solutions. We will then move to in-water training, looking at the correct position/ posture, buoyancy, emergency procedures, navigation with guiding lines, propulsion techniques and use of the reel. The Introduction develops along four dives in two different cave systems, gradually moving from cavern to real caves with just some limit into distance, depth and size of the caverns. Prerequisites:
