Apprentice Cave Diver Course

This course is the third step necessary to obtain the Full Cave Diver certificate. The focus now is on pre-dive planning and more practical cave diving experience. In this course, we will also re-visit and amplify the learning of the first two steps.

The program is based on four dives in three different cave systems with the aim of increasing the diver's skill. We work on improving the navigation techniques on the guide-lines by adding complexity, we tackle “jump” and “gaps”, we introduce the concept of decompression whilst increasing linear cave penetration, by use of the rule of third.

As a result of the Apprentice Cave Diver course, you will receive a temporary certificate aimed at demonstrating the acquired knowledge. As this is a temporary certificate, we would recommend to rapidly move on the next and final stage. This at least before begin planning for more complex dives.

• Introduction to Cave Diver certification issued by a recognized agency
